Textile Technology
I was thinking how many Malaysian are still wondering what does Textile Technology's students do. What is Textile and so on. Actually, I am one of the Textile students in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam. As for your information, UiTM is the one and only university that offer this course ad it is under the faculty of Applied Sciences. Most of other universities out there in Malaysia are offering Textile courses under the Art and Design faculty which is not the same. They maybe study focusing on certain scope related to textile such as printing, weaving, designing and sewing. Based on my experiences, when it comes to textile scope which is bigger than only printing, weaving, knitting and designing, most people started to wonder what exactly we do. So lets make it clear, friends! Basically, you can find a lot of textile around you.
